Help

The Help application displays the Racona user documentation right inside the system: the same guides you can read on this site.

  • Category: Utilities
  • Multi-Instance: Yes (you can open multiple help windows)
  • Permission: Public (all users)
  • Table of contents: The left panel lists the pages grouped by topic (Using the Interface, UI Components, Applications, Troubleshooting, FAQ). After Applications come the help pages of installed plugins, if the plugin ships them and you can access the plugin
  • Search: The search field above the table of contents filters the page titles
  • Content: The selected page is displayed on the right, including its images
  • Links: Links in the text open the related page inside Help, external links open in a new browser tab

Help is displayed in the language of the interface. If there is no help content for a language, the Hungarian version is shown.

You can open the Help application in the following ways:

  • Start Menu: Clicking the Help application icon from the Start Menu
  • Desktop icon: If the Help application icon is placed on the desktop, clicking it
  • Help button: With the ? button in an application window’s title bar. Help then opens directly on that application’s page (for a plugin, on the main page of its help)
  • Application opener: With the ? icon in the taskbar’s application opener

The Help application is multi-instance, which means:

  • You can open multiple help windows simultaneously
  • Each window can display a different help topic
  • The window title follows the displayed page (e.g., “Help - Settings”)
  • If you open a page with the help button that is already open, the existing window is brought to the front
